Sometimes karma can be a persons worst enemy. Although, sometimes it simply surprises us with its mysterious justice. The oldest man in the world was just named "World's Oldest Living Man" by Guinness World Records, and the story is sure to touch your heart. This may be the strongest man you have ever heard of in your life. Despite the horrific trials and tribulations that life handed to him, he never once gave up. The story of this prestigious man really shows the strength that humans are capable of, and just how much he deserves the long life that was gifted to him.
Israel Kristal celebrated his 112th birthday last year, making him the oldest man alive to date. Remarkably, he was a survivor of terrors he experienced during the Holocaust. At the young age of 12 years, he was forcibly separated from his parents in the chaos caused by World War I. When World War II approached, life had even more heartbreak in store for this strong man. Kristal was imprisoned at a camp in Auschwitz where he lost his dear wife and two sweet children. Although he lost everything dear to him, he did manage to escape the experience with his life.
Since the tragic experiences from World War II, Kristal has had nothing but good luck. He went on to become an entrepreneur in Israel, and opened his own confectionery treat shop. His business flourished, and so did his health. After facing the unimaginable trials of his experiences, he was rewarded for his patience with the gift of long life. Upon receiving his award, Kristal was glowing with pride in how far his accomplishments had taken him. As he was handed the certificate for his feat, Kristal was quoted to reveal I dont know the secret for long life. I believe that everything is determined from above and we shall never know the reasons why. In retrospect of the occurrence, truer words have never been spoken.
Sometimes, life works in mysterious ways. If you allow yourself to be amazed by life, it will never cease to do so.
