MMA Female Fighter Ronda Rousey Was Suicidal After Loss To Holly Holm

Well… this is an extreme plot twist. The one person who was considered invincible in the fighting world was once contemplating suicide. Back in November, then UFC Women’s champion, Ronda Rousey, faced off against world champion boxer Holly Holm at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia. For all of you guys who didn’t see the fight things didn’t turn out so good for the confident Ronda Rousey who claimed that she was going to knock out Holm during the bout. As a matter of fact, Rousey was on the receiving end of a head kick that echoed throughout the venue leaving UFC fans shocked as they jumped to their feet. Immediately, Rousey was taken to the hospital after her lifeless body fell to the ground and she bled from the mouth. Now Holly Holm is the holder of the UFC Women’s Championship belt and she plans on defending the title by any means necessary. As for Ronda, she appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show where while sitting in the hospital after being knocked out, she considered taking her own life. Check out the footage riiiight here…
Welp! There’s that, the cocky girl that said she had no competition and even challenged Floyd Mayweather to a fight. The irony in her challenging him is the feminists that backed her while she made the offer to fight the undefeated boxing champion, who just so happened to do jail time for domestic abuse, that’s another story though. In all honesty, we don’t feel sorry for her at all. After all of those interviews of her saying that she kick any fighters a** that came her way, her catching a foot to the jaw seemed to knock her right back into reality. It’s always the cocky ones that can’t handle defeat at all. Here’s our favorite quote from the interview, "Honestly, my thought in the medical room, I was sitting in the corner and was like, 'What am I anymore if I'm not this?'" Rousey said. "Literally sitting there thinking about killing myself. In that exact second, I'm like, 'I'm nothing. What do I do anymore? No one gives a s*** about me anymore without this.'" Luckily, her fighter boyfriend Travis Browne was there for her in her time of need and helped her get through the initial emotional trauma of her first loss. But seriously, Ronda… this is a little dramatic.
How funny is that she’s throwing herself a pity party to regain her media favoritism and grow an underdog cult-like following when she showed no sportsmanship or remorse for opponents in the past… Sorry, we’re not buying into this like other media outlets are. Would we wish suicide or death or anyone? Of course not, but when it comes to athletes of her caliber we expect for her to handle her single loss a little better than erasing herself from the planet. Luckily, she’s back in the gym and determined to be re-crowned a UFC champ as she is set for a rematch with Holly Holm later this year. God forbid she loses though, we might have some breaking news coming soon after the fight. Ronda… we really thought you were way more mentally stable than this, especially with the all of the smack talking you’ve been doing these past couple of years. You’re 12-1, the world did not come to an end and you still have a solid fan base that cares for you. You may want to take Floyd Mayweather up on his offer to help you with your boxing technique though. Work hard and win or lose, life will go on.
