25 Celebrities Who Have a Reputation of Being Racist

Charlie Blacks II September 29th 2015 Entertainment
Race issues have always been a touchy subject, but as of the last couple years, it has become a hot topic again. Some celebrities naturally feel that they are above the general public regardless of ethnic background or race. But let's imagine if there are celebrities that put themselves on a pedestal and put others down because of their race… welp, there are some out there. Find out which celebrities hide their faces under their KKK hoods or have secret SS Nazi armbands. Hopefully you're better human beings than the celebrities on this list. #25 will absolutely shock you!

1. Rihanna

The Barbados bombshell, everybody has come to love over the years definitely has a sharp tongue, almost too sharp. During the time of Chris Brown's breakup with Rihanna, Chris had found a new lady to play house with, Karreuche Tran, who happened to be half-Vietnamese. Rihanna, not taking a liking to Chris' new girlfriend took her dislike to social media, starting a twitter and instagram cat fight. It wasn't long before the low blows started flying, Rihanna tweeted out a picture of a bag of rice cakes accessorized with a pair of hoop earrings and wearing sunglasses. Is it racist? Yes. Did Rihanna go too far? Yes. But the racial jabs didn't stop there, in the remix of Chris Brown's 'Cake' single, Rihanna sings the following "Remember how you did it? / Remember how you fit it? / If you still wanna kiss it / Come and get it / Sweeter than a rice cake, cake worth sipping / Kill it, tip it." Geeze, Rihanna even made racism melodic… The social media beef stopped as now both Karreuche and Rihanna have sworn off of Chris Brown.

2. Megan Fox

Beauty on the outside doesn't exactly mean beauty on the inside. Megan Fox was also publicly caught saying some not so nice things about director Michael Bay while speaking to the press about the third Transformers movie. Her comments lead executive producer Steven Spielberg to coerce Bay into firing the actress, in which she was replaced by British model, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Here's the quote from Megan while speaking to a British media outlet, "God, I really wish I could go loose on this one. He's like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is." This isn't exactly the most racist thing to say, but it isn't exactly the most politically correct thing to say in a work environment or about your boss for that matter. Oh, she forgot one thing, the executive producer, Steven Spielberg is Jewish. You might want to choose your words more carefully next time Megan, Hollywood isn't too fond of anti-semites.

3. Iggy Azalea

Iggy Azalea is from one of the more racially segregated countries/continents in the world… that's no excuse for her hateful comments though. There isn't a lot of racial diversity in Australia but there is definitely no reason to target other races and cultures. Here's a couple of quotes of quotes from her twitter account that she wish she would have deleted. "Just saw 5 black men get arrested out the front of popeye's #damn #stereotypes." "This Asian lady on the plane tried to act like she didn't understand me I told her a** b**** u gone know English today cause that's my seat!" Here's another, "B****** in LA be stick skinny. To the bone. White, black, mexican… Okay… So maybe not mexican(s) they still got the box body on lock." There's more but this should be enough to get the point. She has since then apologized for her remarks but this one is a little obvious. Maybe she'd think not to make comments like these especially when she's in a industry dominated by blacks and other minorities. Say goodbye to your rap career Iggy!

4. Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan mistakenly made a version of "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?" with a more hate-filled tone than the original. Hulk was caught spewing racial slurs about his daughter Brooke's current boyfriend. Unfortunately the Hulkster wasn't too fond of the fact that he was black, truly disappointing. He was caught on tape saying the following, "I mean, I'd rather if she was going to f*** some n*****, I'd rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n***** worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we're all a little racist. F***ing n*****." Tell us how you really feel Hogan, sheesh. WWE later dropped the Hulkster from their website as well as their affiliation with the wrestling icon. Hulk, you can't expect the black community to support Hulkamania any longer friend. Good luck getting around Florida with that attitude. Society did the right thing and choke slammed the wrestler into nothingness.

5. Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton has a lot of nerve to even consider being racist. The hotel heiress definitely has the knowledge that her family employs many minorities to keep their hotel business as one of the most prestigious hotels around the world. According to one of Paris' ex-friends, Brandon Davis, she definitely is a racist and told The Enquirer this about the socialite, "She was forever using the 'N-word.' I told her not to use it. It was offensive. But she just laughed. She is a racist, plus an idiot….She uses the word all the time, and I've known her all of her life. It's 'ni**** this' and 'ni**** that.' She's a disgrace. She is a racist!" Brandon also said that she had some not so kind words for the Jewish community too, "She puts down Jews and other minorities, too. And I'm Jewish. I found it depressing. I finally had enough of her attitude six months ago, and I finished with her." Unfortunately there's video evidence out there of Paris being an a**hole. This is weird because is currently working with Cash Money Records on music and uhh… all those guys are black. Better hope they don't find out about this Paris.

6. Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber definitely isn't shy to being in the midst of controversy. In all honesty we think he is doing what any normal millionaire kid would in his situation. But in this particular situation the pop singer was filmed telling some terribly racist jokes. Here's one of the jokes from the video that TMZ released, "Why are black people afraid of chainsaws?... Run n*****, n*****, n*****, n*****," Justin cackled while imitating the sound of a chainsaw. Genius kid, you know you were being filmed and that that footage might come back to haunt you. The video is actually about five years old now and Justin has since then apologized for his untasteful jokes. Very strange that Justin would stoop to that level being that some of his best friends are black and a black guy helped him get into the industry, Usher Raymond. Hopefully, his joking days are over with.

7. Chelsea Handler

Chelsea is known for edgy comedic standpoint so this one could be a reach as well. One thing though you could never tell with Chelsea Handler, is she being serious or that weird, kind of a**hole-ish sarcastic everyone has come to know and love. Anyways he have a little evidence that may say she took it a little too far this time around. While live tweeting during the Oscar's Chelsea tweeted this to the world, "#AngelinaJolie just filed adoption papers #lupitanyongo #Oscars." We see where she was trying to go with this, but Chelsea, at least let Lupita leave the stage before you start you slandering her and Angelina in the same breath. Her racially charged joke led her to half-heartedly apologize while on Good Morning America, Chelsea is quoted saying this, "I'm not racist. I date a lot of black people, so that would be a difficult thing to explain to them." Ok, so that wasn't much of an apology but I'm pretty sure that made ex-boyfriend 50 Cent chuckle. The art of timing Chelsea, we thought you were better at it than this, sheesh.

8. Giuliana Rancic

Giuliana is known for her part on E! channel's Fashion's Police. Unfortunately since the passing of Joan Rivers, the show has struggled to find the comedic relief for the fashion show. Giuliana came under fire when she made some not so funny comments about Zendaya Coleman's hair at the 2015 Academy Awards. Zendaya had decided to wear faux dreadlocks to the ceremony, dreadlocks have been a staple in the black community since the beginning of time and is also considered a representation of spirituality. We sort of feel like Giuliana's comments were taken out of context when it came to Zendaya's hair, but here's the quote she said from the show, "She just has such a tiny frame that this hair, to me, overwhelms her. I feel like she smells like patchouli oil. Or weed! Yeah, maybe weed?" Giuliana claims that her comments were edited and the editing took what she was said out of context. She later complimented Zendaya from the Today Show and actually quit working for E! Entertainment. We have a feeling Giuliana will be back sooner, rather than later.

9. Jay-Z

This one is sort of hard to believe, especially these days when Jay Z is seen hanging out with Warren Buffet and Gwyneth Paltrow, but there is evidence out there of Jay possibly being a closet racist. Jay has been seen out with a gold, diamond encrusted pendant that has a star with the number seven in the middle of it. This is the symbol of the Five Percent Nation founded by the Clarence Smith, an ex-Muslim. The group was founded to uplift the black community in the New York area but at the time in the mid-60s racial tensions were so high that the group became a target for hate crime. The Five Percent Nation, themselves, became a radical group claiming that whites were the devil and to not affiliate with whites in America. With Jay Z wearing this particular symbol, we could see why some may think he is secretly racist but this could one of two ways. He could be in support of the Nation because it was Clarence Smith, who was a student of the late, Malcolm X. Or maybe, Jay just isn't too fond of white people… hard to say as his business ventures and moves come into play. He has partnered with many white people in all types of industries, from his deal with his Russian partners for building the Barclay's Arena in Brooklyn from his work and concert series he did with Justin Timberlake. But maybe… deep down… Jay has a secret hate for mayonnaise and everything pasty, including people. Just maybe…

10. Kelly Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne stars in "When Trying to be Politically Correct Goes Wrong." Kelly Osbourne attempted to get on her moral soapbox and deliver a message that everybody would agree on, and boy did it backfire. While guest co-hosting on "The View", Kelly had some words for presidential candidate, Donald Trump, about his policy to remove illegal immigrants, mainly latinos, from the country. This is what Kelly had to say about Donald's comments, "If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?" Kelly lifted her chin expecting applause, but heard crickets. Her co-host Rosie Perez, who is of Puerto-Rican descent, interrupted her speech to let her know that what she was saying was not factual and actually ended up having to apologize to Kelly. Inside sources claim that the producers pressured Rosie into apologizing to Kelly live on air, Rosie left "The View" a couple days later. What a coincidence, eh? Kelly you're obviously not living in the real world with the rest of us, leave your political view to yourself.

11. John Mayer

This one came as a surprise to many as John Mayer may not be too fond of the African-American ladies. It all started when he did a interview with Playboy magazine. Here's the quote that was raising eyebrows everywhere, "I don't think I open myself to it. My d*** is sort of like a white supremacist. I've got a Benetton heart and a f****n' David Duke c*ck. I'm going to start dating separately from my d***. …I always thought Holly Robinson Peete was gorgeous. Every white dude loved Hilary from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." John, it's one thing to have a preference, and that's fine… But to refer that your genitalia is a white supremacist, come on. This is all very strange though, as he and Kanye had worked on music several times throughout their careers. We think John was just joking, but if that's how he really feels. More for the rest of world to partake in! You know what they say, the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice… John may never find out if this true.

12. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Everybody's favorite boxer they love to hate, Floyd Mayweather. This guy is sort of an easy target as is known to not be the smartest guy, book wise that is. With that being said of course he is going to get caught saying some outlandish things every once in awhile. Floyd Mayweather was filmed making some racial comments about boxing rival, Manny Pacquiao in September of 2010. Here's what the boxing champ had to say, "As soon as we come off vacation, we're going to cook that little yellow chump … Once I kick the midget ass, I don't want you all to jump on my d---. So you all better get on the bandwagon now ... Once I stomp the midget, I'll make that mother f----- make me a sushi roll and cook me some rice … we're going to cook him with some cats and dogs." *sigh* We get it, when it comes to the art of boxing intimidation and trash talking is a crucial part of the game but Floyd went a little too far. Little yellow chump? Make a sushi roll and rice? Cook cats and dogs? Ok, later Manny did say his father ate the family dog but still… Luckily Floyd has officially retired from boxing and hopefully the brain damage leaves him at this level of stupidity. Floyd now has time to catch up on some reading.

13. Paula Deen

Ok, Paula Deen took it a little too far… We get it you're the southern lady with the best cookies, pies, and butter-topped, diabetes inducing, recipes of all time. That does not give you the right to be blatantly racist, even if those pies are scrumptious. Lisa Jackson, a former employee of Paula Deen, spoke out against the culinary expert saying that she threw a slave themed wedding. Here's a quote from the deposition of the worker, "The whole entire waiter staff was middle-aged black men, and they had on beautiful white jackets with a black bow tie… That restaurant represented a certain era in America…after the Civil War, during the Civil War, before the Civil War…It was not only black men, it was black women…I would say they were slaves." Seriously Paula? If that wasn't enough she was caught on camera using the N-word and making anti-semitic jokes, all the while jiggling it up with her peers. She has since then made a half-a**ed public apology, where she threw on the water works after being stripped of her TV show and after her products were removed from department stores no longer wanting to be affiliated with the chef. Paula still continues to seek acceptance from the black community, even with her delicious pastries, pies, and desserts in hand.

14. Donald Trump

This might be the scariest one of all… Donald Trump, presidential candidate of 2016. If that doesn't send shivers down your spine, you are one soulless being. It all started during the announcement of him running for presidency. Here's the quote from his speech that disgusted a lot of the immigrants "The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else's problems. … When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime." This sparked outrage as well as support of Trump. Trump took it a step further by stating that he wanted to build a wall separating the US and Mexico border, in which he would name 'The Great Wall of Trump.' Thought that was enough? During a question and answer segment he told Latino reporter, Jorge Ramos, to 'go back to Univision.' Anybody with a functioning brain should be disgusted by this guy, but he has gathered support from around the country. Luckily he is now sliding in the polls and is no longer welcome on NBC, the home of his network series The Apprentice.

15. Mel Gibson

Racism is not a laughing matter… but somehow Mel Gibson made it entertaining and somewhat funny. Over the years Mel has been caught out there taking shots at any and every race. Here's a quote from his phone argument with ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, ""I will report her to the f***ing people that take f***ing money from the wetbacks." Later in conversation also saying, "You look like a f***ing pig in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of n******, it will be your fault." He went on to threaten to burn her house down, moan erotically and telling her to 'blow him.' During his arrest for a DUI in 2006 he had some comments for the Jewish community, "F***ing Jews... The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world… Are you a Jew?" while speaking to a female officer he then later called 'sugar t**s.' Ok, maybe that's not that funny, but at least we know how Mel really feels about the different cultures he surrounded by day in and day out. Think about it, since these comments have been released, has Mel done any major work in Hollywood?

16. Shaquille O' Neal

Shaq is probably the most dominant NBA player to ever play the game but who would have thought that he was insensitive to the culture of others. Shaq has always been a big goof and somewhat of a softy unless pushed to the edge. He's been quoted saying some eye-widening things on live television from saying 'sh**' to criticism of ex-teammate Kobe Bryant. In the early 2000, the rise of chinese phenom, Yao Ming had made his mark on the NBA. When asked on The Best Damn Sports Show in 2002, if he had a message for the new big man in town, Shaq said this, "Tell Yao Ming, 'Ching-chong-yang-wah-ah-soh.'" Really Shaq, that's all you had up your sleeve? Before playing a game in Cleveland in January of 2003 Shaq made a formal apology. He denied the accusations of being racist and said the joke wasn't as funny as he thought it was. Since Shaq has been spotted in numerous commercials and is a sports analyst for TNT, still making people laugh, in a more tasteful way now.

17. Riley Cooper

Ok, this one sort of makes sense. Think about it Riley Cooper is a professional football wide receiver, white wide receivers in the NFL are like rhinos in the wild, there's only a couple out there. Think about it everyday, there's some black guy getting ready to take his starting wide receiver job. That's a concern of his subconsciously… so his comments at a Kenny Chesney concert was filmed saying this in the midst of a squabble, "I will fight every n***** here!" After being denied backstage that's what the athlete had to say… seriously. This is sort of funny because there had to be about eight black people total at that Kenny Chesney concert, he definitely wouldn't try that at a Lil Wayne concert. Riley later apologized via twitter, but I know those locker room side-eyes had to be extremely uncomfortable. Riley still continues to make catches for the Philadelphia Eagles and we're sure he watches his mouth while on the field.

18. Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen has risen and fallen in the public eye several time. This particular time he chose the wrong format to express his feelings about our current president, Barack Obama. Charlie Sheen decided to take to Twitter of all places to take some shots the president, that weren't so kosher. Every year the president completes a bracket for NCAA's March Madness tournament, here's Charlie's response to Barack's display, "Barry Satera Kenya u won't attend a soldier's funeral uhkros da street that u kild yet u hav time 4 brackets? s a d." Taking jabs at the leader of the free world's ethnic background isn't the smartest move. Let's assume Charlie was drunk or on another one of his drug binges. If you ever run into Charlie stumbling down the streets of Hollywood, whip out your camera and see if he says something racist, it could be a pay day, unfortunately at the expense of ethnic people around the world, but a pay day none the less.

19. Michael Richards

Michael Richards most notably known for playing Kramer on Seinfeld decided to try his take at comedy once again in the mid 2000s. Unfortunately that didn't last too long as the comedian reached a breaking point while on stage after a heckler got under his skin. After a couple jabs while at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood, back and forth, the comedian snapped and yelled the following to the heckler and his group of friends, "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f*****g fork up your a**. You can talk, you can talk, you're brave now motherf****r. Throw his a** out. He's a n*****! He's a n*****! He's a n*****! A n*****, look, there's a n*****!" After leaving the crowd in shock, many left. We understand hecklers are some of the most annoying people on earth, but did you have to go that far Kramer? Geeze, good luck trying to rev-up that comedy career of yours because that was definitely not funny.

20. Duane "Dog" Chapman

What is it with old white guys and not wanting their children to date outside of their race? Like Hulk Hogan, Duane 'Dog' Chapman is another example of just that. A phone call surfaced of Dog ranting to his son to dump his African-American girlfriend. Here's a piece of the five minute racial slur filled rant, "I don't care if she's a Mexican, a whore or whatever. It's not because she's black, it's because we use the word ni**** sometimes here. I'm not gonna take a chance ever in life of losing everything I've worked for for 30 years because some f***ing ni**** heard us say ni**** and turned us in to the Enquirer magazine." Well, that sure is good excuse to get your kid to dump their ethnic girlfriend. *sigh* How sad. A&E has since halted the production of his show Dog The Bounty Hunter. Dog has also publicly apologized but hasn't gotten the most receptive response from the public. He also has since then gone to prison for crossing international borders to chase a fugitive. This guy definitely isn't that smart.

21. Donald Sterling

Sure… blame your racism on being senile Donald, go right on ahead. We find it a little weird that a guy who owns a professional basketball team is a blatant racist. In the past people close to Sterling hinted that he had some bigot like characteristics including minorities being paid less than others in his organization, as well as discrimination within his real estate business. But during a conversation with his then mistress, V. Stiviano, is when the public took notice of Sterling's racist ways. "It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you're associating with black people. Do you have to?... You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that ... and not to bring them to my games." That was Donald's statement during a recorded phone conversation. The irony though… basketball is a predominantly black sport, so how does he feel about the guys on the actual court? Weird… regardless, Donald was forced to sell the Los Angeles Clippers and has faded out of the public eyes.

22. Phil Robertson

From the looks of him, are you surprised? Sooner or later one of the Duck Dynasty guys were going to say something outlandish about America's current social climate. Phil has taken shots at the gay community as well, saying that no one gay would make it into 'the kingdom of heaven.' Phil also believes the Civil Rights Movement should have never happened. For some reason he thinks that African-Americans were happier with less rights . Here's a quote of his thoughts on the situation, "Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I'm with the blacks, because we're white trash. We're going across the field … They're singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, 'I tell you what: These doggone white people'—not a word!" This old school mindset is dangerous and apparently is still alive today, Phil is proof of that. A&E suspended Phil from the show and continue the network continues to face criticism from both the gay and black communities. Smarten up Phil, you're better than that.

23. Moby

This one is a little unexpected. Everybody knows Moby as the soft, little guy that, doesn't participate in animal products, and is a practicing vegan. Moby's even been known to dabble in politics and activism when the opportunity presents itself. Well, apparently Moby has little bit of mean streak as well… but in the direction of minorities. While tweeting in August of 2011 Moby attempted to make a joke about some Jay Z and Kanye lyrics on their 'Watch The Throne' album. Here's his quote, "this line from jay z/kanye cracks me up: 'Put some colored girls in the MoMA.' the museum of modern art, that is. the new hood, i guess."Moby instantly received backlash from the Twitter community as he implied if more ethnic girls would turn the museum into the hood. Moby obviously was trying to make a joke, but he probably should have thought that one out a little further. Moby, other ethnicities and races create art too… you should know that by listening to your own music.

24. Chevy Chase

Usually people try to cover up their racism while on the job, apparently that doesn't fly with Chevy Chase. While on the set of the sitcom, Community, Chevy had decided to spew some racial slurs out there for the whole set to hear. Supposedly he was inspired to expose his bigotry cards because he wasn't happy with the direction the writers were taking his character. Chevy also said he wanted his character to include the n-word in the future. After going on his racist tirade, he immediately apologized to African- American co-stars Donald Glover and Yvette Nicole Brown. Geeze… Chevy has since then quit the show as tensions boiled over while filming. Co-star Joel McHale also commented on the incident while speaking with Howard Stern saying, "He said that Richard Pryor said it was okay for him to call him that." And we thought Chevy was one of the good ones. What a shame.

25. John Wayne

The well known actor, who's known for playing the hero in majority of his movies isn't a hero in the social community. John is from a different generation, where the mindset wasn't the friendliest when it came to other races and ethnicities. Still… we do not find that to be an excuse when dealing with other human beings. In 1971, John Wayne held an interview with Playboy magazine in which he defended his belief in white supremacy, "until blacks are educated to a point of responsibility. I don't believe in giving authority and positions of leadership and judgment to irresponsible people." This is extremely disappointing being that he is one of film's biggest on screen heros. Maybe if he would have took the time to understand the black community he would have noticed many people with formal educations and leadership qualities. John was definitely opinionated but not all of those opinions were the best for the social rights of the American environment. Luckily, this mindset has since then faded to black… the irony.
